    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: Who is this programme suitable for?

A: This programme is designed for neurodiverse teens and young adults aged 13 and above, including those with Level 1–3 ASD.

A: This is a functional, real-world learning programme focused on building independence. The transportation module is part of a broader independence pathway, supporting individuals as they move towards vocational readiness.

    Through real-life experiences, students:

    • Connect academic learning with daily living skills
    • Develop practical independence (e.g., travel, communication, decision-making)
    • Gain confidence through hands-on, meaningful, supported experiences

These are skills that cannot be fully taught in a classroom alone.

    A: We use a structured, step-by-step approach:

    • Modelling by visuals and coaches
    • Guided practice
    • Gradual reduction of support

This helps learners build confidence in real-life situations.

A: Yes, AAC users are supported. We provide a range of supports, including:

    • Visual cards and communication aids
    • Visual social stories to prepare for activities
    • Personalised tools and strategies tailored to different ASD support levels (L1–L3)

Our goal is to ensure every learner can communicate, participate, and succeed meaningfully throughout the programme.

A: Yes. We will conduct a developmental assessment to better understand the child’s strengths, needs, and current level of independence. This helps us provide appropriate support and a meaningful learning experience.
